Guitar Meister

Here’s a short video I’ve made about Graham Noden, the guitar master craftsman who is based in Denmark St, in the west end of London, UK. An incredibly talented and skilled man, he is working on my 1975 Gretsch Broadcaster, in for an overhaul and fret ’stoning’, to brighten up an already lovely instrument.

I have known Graham and his cohorts for many years, and enjoy going down to the basement of Musicground, (formerly Andy’s Guitars) where they all work on a myriad of guitars and other stringed instruments.

If you’re ever in the area, be sure to make a visit to this wonderful place.

Digital Explorer

Simon Schofield left the Faculty this week. We were really sorry to see him go, as he did cool things and had a great sense of humour too. The clip is from an exhibition he had at the Slade, showing some of the digital art he makes.

He went to work at Nottingham Trent. I don’t think he knows what he’s let himself in for…

New Site for Class Video

At the moment this site is down, as the server became homeless. I am now moving the site into a new home, so it should be back online soon. All the old posts will also be available, once I’ve either imported from the old MySql, or rebuilt from scratch.

I’m looking forward to configuring the video using v-pip, or similar, so it’ll be easier than ever to view the vids.

Anyway, bear with me, in the next few weeks we should have a beautiful new site and some new videos too….

thanks for your patience and continued interest….

The CCTM Department has been busy this summer…Tower Hill room 316 has been totally redeveloped, and now boasts some of the best technical spec’s in the whole universe (allegedly). As we now ‘do’ a Masters in Computer Animation, there was budget to redevelop the kit. There is a photoblog of the whole process if you want to look in more detail
